From the onset of their Uptown/Universal days, Mr. Dalvin began to show his musical diversity by contributing additional production to and co-writing several of JODECI’S smash releases. The highly successful debut of their Forever My Lady album, which sold a whopping 4 million copies, received RIAA Certification and produced a mind-blowing 5 platinum-plus singles out-of-the box. It was clear that JODECI was here to stay. As the group embarked on the touring scene, Mr. Dalvin continued his Midas touch as the Creative Director for the group’s Live Shows and architect of the band’s trendsetting fashion image-as JODECI went on to become Hip-Hop Soul culture-bearers and urban fashion innovators. Collectively, JODECI albums and singles have sold 25 million units and captured nominations and wins of several top industry awards including Billboard Music Award, American Music Award and the Soul Train Music Award to name a few. Mr. Dalvin has also written and produced for multi-platinum artists such as Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Jewel, TuPac, FloRida, and JoJo just to name a few. He was also feature n hit soundtracks such Dangerous Minds and Above the Rim. Possessing an eye for talent, he discovered female rapper MISSY ELLIOTT and Love & Hip-Hop’s own STEVIE J. Mr. Dalvin continues to tour as a solo artist as well as his group with JODECI in addition to working as a creative director on the JODECI BIO picas well as performing as a solo artist.
