In this video you will see our experience at #DhauliPeacePagoda and #Dhabaleswar temple above the #Dhauli hill. At the footstep of the hill one can observe the preserved Ashokan Rock Edict and the Ashoka Pillar. This peace pagoda at the top of the #Dauli hill was built in the year 1970 with the association of Japan Govt. One can view the #DayaRiver from the peace pagoda, at the bank of this river, the devastated war took place in 265 B.C between King Ashoka and army of #Utkala, it is said that, 150K people were died in the war and the color of water of Daya River became red with the blood of the soldiers.
