How To Clone Tomato Plants - How To Root & Grow Tomatos From Cuttings (Suckers) In Water

Here I will demonstrate how to clone, root and grow tomatoes from tomato plant cuttings or suckers. 1. Choose the tomato sucker you want to clone and clip it carefully 2. Remove the bottom leaves so they do not submerge in water 3. Remove the extra suckers from the tomato cutting but one so you can have a second producing branch 4. Place the tomato sucker in a cup of water and let it sit for about 2 weeks 5. Not all tomato cuttings will grow roots, so make sure to start more than you need 6. When you have nice roots established, plant the new tomato plant in your garden or container and water well until established. Here are links to good buys for the products I'm using: 1.
