My first cable car rope way ride across two mountains .It was indeed an exciting experience. One of the best ways to soak in the beautiful views that Darjeeling is so famous for, a ride on the ropeway can be an awesome experience. It's also called the Rangeet Valley Cable Car because of the spectacular views of the valley around the river Little Rangeet. This ropeway of Darjeeling is fully functional since February 2012. It's quite a fun way to enjoy the scenic beauty of Darjeeling and completely safe. The ropeway spans a length of 1298 meters and is the longest such ropeway in India. The cable cars can accommodate six passengers at a time and provide a very scenic views below, including the rolling hillsides filled with lush green tea gardens, valleys and mountains in Sikkim and the River Rangeet. It provides a journey from the North point of Darjeeling town to Singla, on the banks of Ramman river. It is an 8 km journey where you can view the breathtaking landscapes of the entire valley.
