This shows the arm problem in that it was not reconnected properly. You can also see if this is your problem by removing the vent closest to the passenger door and shining a flashlight into it before removing all the pieces. I had the blend door replaced by the Volvo dealership service department and it stopped working after 1 day of being back on the road. I decided to take it apart and figure it out myself rather than have it sit in their service department for several days while I lost revenue.
