UFLI Lesson 80 /er/ Small Group Instruction incorporating CKLA Spelling Trees

I am using UFLI to teach my intervention students about /er/. Although they see two letters, students learn that r takes control of the vowel to make one sound. You will notice that I am incorporating different methods for blending sounds together to read. I incorporate one of our districts intervention programs, 95% Group, to help my students visualize the spelling pattern taught. You will also see a CKLA Spelling Tree which is used as a word sort for the R-Controlled patterns. I'm a firm believer in differentiating for my students and believe there's not a one size fits all program. #structuredliteracy #scienceofreading #ufli #ckla #spellingtree #teacher
