A little known yet prominent active volcano exists in and surrounding California's Clear Lake. There, 6 explosive eruptions carved out large craters in the ground during the last 15,000 years, marking the most recent eruptions of the Clear Lake volcanic field. This video will discuss this field, the absurdly high amount of energy it provides via various geothermal power plants, and discuss the age of Mount Konocti.
