#howtoservewine #winetemperatures In this video I'm explaining the best temperatures to serve wine. It is very important to know how to serve wine at the right temperature. Non vintage Champagne, Prosecco or Cava should be serve at 6-8°C (43-46°F). Vintage Champagne, vintage Cava or Corpinnat Reserva taste best at 9-11°C (48-52°F). Light and crisp white wine such as: Sauvignon Blanc, Albarino, Riesling or unoaked Chardonnay should be serve at 7-9°C (44-48°F). White Burgundy, Condrieu or Oaky Chardonnay will benefits from serving in between 11-13°C (52-56°F). Most of rose wines taste best at 7-9°C (44-48°F). Light and especially young red wines made of Gamay, Mencia, Frappato or Zweigelt should be serve at 12-14°C (54-57°F). Medium bodied wines such as Sangiovese, Merlot, Garnacha or Carmenere will definitely benefits from serving them at 14-16°C (57-61°F) and finally fully bodied wines such as Tannat, Sagrantino, Cabernet Sauvignon or Touriga Nacional should be serve at 16-18°C (61-64°F). It is important to know, that if your red wine is serve above 20°C, the only thing that you can smell it will be alcohol. Sweet fortified wines like Madeira, Tawny or Ruby Port taste amazing in between 15-17°C (59-62°F) on the other hand, wines like Vin Santo, Sauternes, Recioto della Valpolicella or sweet Riesling taste best at 8-12°C (47-52°F).
