The eve before the 60th Anniversary of Jagadguruttam Diwas was filled with unique activities. Starting with the daily aarti and prayers, the hall was filled to the brim with many more devotees that flew down from all over India and around the world. Everyone awaiting the big day on the 14th January 2017. At 8am, all sadhaks started to gather at Prem Mandir to prepare for the Shobha Yatra with two Raths. One with our darlings Shyamashyam and one with our beloved Guru - Jagadguruttam Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj. JKP Presidents started walking in front of the Rath but were eventually requested to sit on the Rath as well. With raised hands, they led the Sadhaks in singing the soul stirring sankirtan of Hari Bol as everyone went towards Shyamashyam Dham, Vrindavan. The air was filled with a breeze of continuous joy as Hari's name was chanted while we walked on the divine soil of Braj where our eternal love Shri Radha Krishna also walked! As the Raths turned into Shyamashyam Dham, an aarti was performed on it. After the aarti, sadhaks went into the Ashram hall and performed aarti there as well. Thousands joined in the aarti, afterwhich everyone returned back to Prem Mandir. People around were astonished to see sadhaks so happy, dancing and singing so peacefully all the way back. Another aarti was performed in Prem Mandir once everyone reached and dancing continued outside the Mandir for many hours. The bliss experienced cannot be described. The day continued with a celebration of Lohri, with Sadhana sessions as well as a heart touching Leela on Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu during His Divine appearance 500 years ago.
