So during pregnancy many women experience some sort of urinary incontinence at some point of time. During pregnancy this incontinence is due to the increased pressure on the bladder as the growing uterus puts pressure on the bladder. For some it may be severe and frequent while for others it might be mild and some females continue to have this incontinence even after childbirth because childbirth weakens the pelvic floor muscles. Now to help you with this problem you can do Kegels floor exercises. These are the exercises that help you strengthen and tighten the pelvic floor muscles. Kegels exercises can be done to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and prevent the urine from leaking. To identify the pelvic floor muscles you have to start urinating on the toilet bowl and then stop urinating midstream. So now the muscles you use to stop urinating midstream are the pelvic flow muscle to perform Kegels exercises you have to keep your abdominal thigh and buttock muscles relaxed now tighten the pelvic floor muscle muscles. Hold on to tighten the muscles and count to 10 now relax the muscles and again count to 10 do the kegels exercises 10 times in the morning afternoon and at night and you can see the results in 4 to 6 weeks.
