In the Village of Tuoluo, a frustrated jester, dreaming of playing a heroic role, was ridiculed for his appearance and relegated to comedic roles in a small opera troupe. After a failed attempt to replace the hero on stage, which resulted in the audience's fury and his expulsion from the troupe, the jester, consumed by resentment, killed the hero actor, stole his face, and tried to assume his role. However, the villagers, horrified, tied him up and sent him to a distant temple. There, the abbot welcomed him, named him "Non-White," and taught him a dangerous technique, promising he could become a true hero if he wore the face of the Destined One.
