Released in 1988, Ghosthouse is another entry in Italy's La Casa franchise. The films, all unrelated, were designed to cash in on the success of Evil Dead (even though they bear no resemblance to Evil Dead...). Ghosthouse features a ghost girl, a killer clown doll, and lots of dumb young adults cavorting around a haunted house. Or in other words, all the hallmarks of a splatter film classic.
