I am trying to hold as close to my setup body alignments for accuracy by being firm. Even though I am almost rigid in my body I tell my turning muscle to do the turn action. The turn occurs accurately with NO unwanted moves. As I start my downward swing body turn, the weight of my arms and axe cause them to delay. The delay occurs with a flex or stretch of muscles and tendons at my shoulders and wrists as I try to hold the original alignments of my arms, hands, and axe as they were at address. My stretched muscles and tendons "snap" back to alignment just as contact of the wood is made by the axe head. Axe head "speed" has been reached just as the axe enters the wood. Momentum takes the axe to the bottom of the wood. A firm body gives accuracy
