Samsung Gear 360 the 2017 model is one of the least expensive 4k 360 cameras to hit the market this year. I was very excited to get my hands on one and try it out. I was both pleased and disappointed with what I found out. First the good: 1. Its very small and extremely portable. 2. The 4k video looks amazing when played back on my phone. 3. Very easy to use, and works great with Samsung phones. 4. Saves 10 minutes of shooting to get a single 360 photo vs using using the app on my phone. Now for the bad: 1. The photo and video quality was not as sharp and crisp as I was expecting while viewing in the Samsung VR headset.
