Hi loves! Surprise extra video this week yay! This one's super personal, as I share my experience of losing my hair at 22/ my Alopecia Areata story. I've been dealing with an autoimmune issue for a little bit, and I wanted to share what I've been going through. Have you ever experienced anything similar? More info on alopecia: https://www.aad.org/public/diseases/h... I also want to disclaim (and I forgot to mention this in the video) I am entirely aware this is a mild case of alopecia. Like I said I am extremely thankful my body is responding well to treatments. I do get emotional because before I started to see progress, I was living with a horrible sense of uncertainty... was I going to see more spots? Would it ever grow back? What if it falls back out once it's grown back? Had I filmed this back then, I would have 100% been a blubbery mess for the whole video (not just half haha). :( I think it's also worth mentioning that dealing with this has taught me SO much about myself, and about being happy and thankful for everything I have.
