Spring backpacking with my daughter and testing out new gear!

A quick spring backpacking trip at Afton State Park with my daughter. We tested out some new gear and we will need to take the gear out a bit more to get things dialed and have full reviews on them. I am really enjoying the Durston Solid and Z-Flick Poles. The Z-Flick poles will be used on our canoe trips, and trekking poles will be used while backpacking. The REI Flash 55 is very comfortable, and it is nice to have a pack that actually fits me. The Campingmoon stove, Soto Triflex, and Firemaple pot are a very good combo and boil water quickly and efficiently. The Superior Fleece Alpha Direct 90 Hoodie is becoming one of my favorite pieces of gear. It is warm and pairs well with a wind breaker or rain jacket. The Naturhike r8.8 sleeping pad is very comfortable and I had a good night of sleep. Looking forward to a lot of fun canoe and backpacking trips this summer!
