Dartington was a progressive, liberal co-educational school. Foxhole was built as its junior school but was first used for senior children. Foxhole is a Grade II Listed Building - List entry 1219259. The former Dartington Hall School closed after the Corona Virus pandemic and has no plans to reopen. We arived late morning and didn’t leave untill the early evening due exploring every room and eventually getting lost! There was a lot of interesting things left in this beautiful building inc school work, furniture and much much more! We were a little spooked just before leaving as we thought we heard someone close to where we were. Not wanting to find out who or what it was we decided to leave.
