Join me for a hike along the May Valley Loop Trail at Squak Mountain State Park. It's located near Issaquah, about 1/2 hour east of Seattle. The park has a great trail system with about 13 miles of hiking trails, many trail options, and each junction clearly marked. I started at the May Valley Trailhead where there is plenty of parking and pit toilets. A Washington Discover Pass, or daily pass is required. Along the way I stopped at Debbie's View, passed the ruins of the Green House and saw the old Bullitt Fireplace. Unfortunately, the summit at Central Peak has lots of radio towers and doesn't have any views ... fortunately there were clear skies and a nice view of Mount Rainier from Debbie's Viewpoint. **The cover photo of Squak Mountain was taken from Poo Poo Point Lookout- I hiked there the week before. 👌😄 Thanks for joining me- Happy Trails!!
