Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, enjoyed the performance together with them. Among the audience were Hwang Pyong So, Ri Myong Su, Pak Yong Sik, Ri Yong Gil and other commanding officers of the KPA. Put on the stage were colorful numbers such as male chorus "The Leader and the General Are Together," mixed chorus and male chorus "Glory to the Workers' Party of Korea", male chorus "We Wish the Supreme Commander Good Health" and male vocal solo "Soldiers Live Near the General." The performers sang high praises of the greatest honor of the Korean army and people ushering in the era of great prosperity of the great Paektusan nation, being blessed by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, holding them in high esteem as the eternal sun of Juche for all ages. The audience was mesmerized by the songs praising the exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il who led the unprecedented struggle for defending socialism to one victory after another, always finding themselves on the forefront of the revolution, and thus built a single-mindedly united politico-ideological power, a world military power and nuclear power on this land. The performance reached its climax when the artistes presented male choruses "Peace Is Guaranteed by Our Arms" and "Revolutionary Armed Forces Uphold Leadership of Marshal Only" representing the faith and will of the powerful revolutionary Paektusan army to firmly guarantee the rosy future of Kim Il Sung's Korea which will prosper for all ages, demonstrating the strongest national power with independent nuclear weapons under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un. When the performance was over, all the performers and participants in the military parade broke into enthusiastic cheers of "hurrah!" Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un waved back to them and congratulated the artistes on their successful performance. He expressed expectation and belief that all the participants in the military parade would firmly uphold the cause of the sun with the arms of Paektusan by carrying forward the history and tradition of steady victories of the Korean revolution which started and advanced with arms, and creditably discharge the mission and duties of the revolutionary armed forces in defending socialism and accomplishing the cause of building a socialist power.
