We ventured to a new lake in hopes of finally catching our first arctic chars. The previous year we hiked up a fjell in Northern Sweden with knowledge of a lake that contains giant char. Despite our best efforts, we could not catch a single char during that trip. So the stakes and our expectations were high for this time around, and when we finally catch our first fishes from this lake the excitement is quite audible.
