A Life Stolen: The Shocking Murder of Staudte family || True Crime Documentary In June 2013, the staff at a medical center in Springfield, Missouri, faced a challenging situation when they admitted 24 year old Sarah Staudte. She was in critical condition, losing consciousness and crying out in pain when she regained awareness. Doctors discovered she had a brain hemorrhage and kidney failure, causing her organs to function erratically. They struggled to understand her rapidly deteriorating state. The fight for Sarah's life lasted several days until they received an anonymous tip. The caller revealed that the Staudte family had been plagued by mysterious illnesses for a year, which had already claimed the lives of Sarah's father, Mark, and her brother, Shaun. Both had died without receiving medical care, and now it seemed Sarah was next. Fortunately, she was admitted to the medical center, giving her a chance at survival. The police began investigating the unusual illnesses affecting the Staudte family, suspecting it was not just a coincidence. The family comprised six members, Mark, Diane, and their children Shaun and three daughters Sarah, Rachel, and the nine year old girl. Mark Staudte, born in St. Louis in 1951, he met Diane while studying in Texas, despite their differences, they quickly found common interests and began dating. Mark was optimistic and artistic, performing in a band, while Diane was more reserved and introverted. Their relationship progressed rapidly, leading to an unplanned pregnancy, after which they decided to marry. Following the birth of Shaun, Diane pursued her education, graduated from nursing school, and began working in a hospital's cardiology department. In contrast, Mark became a stay at home dad, managing household responsibilities and caring for the children. It appeared that Diane prioritized her career, striving to provide for the family. To seek better job opportunities, they relocated to Springfield, Missouri, a tranquil town ideal for raising children. This town was also Diane's hometown, conservative and religious, making her feel safe and secure. #TrueCrimeDocumentary #TrueNewCrime #Criminal #CrimeTruths
