Legendary Producer Chali “Bravo” Mulalami Put to Rest | Zambia Mourns Music Icon

The Zambian music industry continues to mourn the passing of legendary music producer, songwriter and founder of Slingbeats Entertainment, Chali Bravo Mulalami. According to a statement issued by the Zambia Association of Musicians (ZAM), Chali Bravo passed away at Levy Mwanawasa Teaching Hospital following a short illness. Widely regarded as one of the pioneers who helped shape modern Zambian music, Chali Bravo played a major role in transforming the sound of the local industry through his production and songwriting. Throughout his remarkable career, he worked with and produced music for some of Zambia’s biggest artists including K'Millian, Mampi, Ty2, General Ozzy, Roberto and many others. His influence and legacy will forever remain in the Zambian music industry through the timeless songs and artists he helped nurture. Family, friends, fellow musicians and fans continue to celebrate his life and contribution to music. Rest in Power, Bravo. Your legacy lives on through the music.
