When you encounter the Holy Spirit, the first thing He works on is you, He forges you into the image of Christ. The outpouring of the Spirit brings an expression of righteousness upon a man. Tonight, Pastor Deola showed us two forms of righteousness: The Nature and the Fruits of Righteousness. 📌 Righteousness is the ability to stand in the presence of the Father as though sin never happened with the same liberty and freedom that Jesus had with the Father when He was on earth. Some of the blessings that come with the nature of righteousness include 👇 🙏 Peace with the Father 🙏 Access to fellowship with the Father 🙏 Faith 🙏 Freedom 🙏 Full access to sonship privilege 📌 The fruits of righteousness, on the other hand, are not right actions only but right actions that carry out the will of the Father. The first, primary, and most important way to bear fruit is through love (John 15:10-12, John 13:34). When you release love you've released the force of righteousness on the face of the earth. The walk of the Spirit is primarily a walk in love Galatians 5:21-23. Our love walk is in 3 folds: 1️⃣ Inward — Love, joy, peace: There must be love in your heart, joy in your soul, and peace which is an outworking of this love and joy. 2️⃣ Outward — Long-suffering, gentleness, and goodness: This focuses on character. Our love must flow toward people. 3️⃣ Godward — Faith, meekness, and temperance. Our love for God will show in these 3 things; doing everything in our lives to honor God, His will and establish His will on the face of the earth. When the nature and fruits of righteousness are actively at work in the life of a believer, the force of righteousness is released which exerts dominion on the earth.
