This video is a verification of the CFD approach versus the analytical solution: A model is build up with the part workbench, the simulation is very close to the definition of the definition of the viscosity. The forces calculated from the CFD simulation are compared to the forces from the analytical model. This simulation model shows that CFD simulations do not necessarily require inlet and outlet as boundary conditions. The difference between results from turbulent flow (RANS) and laminar flow is illustrated.
