In this video I am taking you on a Shopping Mall Walking Tour in Winter 2020 at the Bilker Arkaden in Dusseldorf. This Dusseldorf shopping mall walk tour is a brief contrast to my more recent walks, since I haven't filmed a shopping mall in a while. Bilker Arcaden is a shopping mall located in Dusseldorf Bilk, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany (Western Germany). The Bilker Arcaden is a shopping and experience mall in the Dusseldorf district of Unterbilk on the site of a former freight station. Within the framework of the overall project of around 48,500 m², retail space for around 110 shops, restaurants, various services and a swimming pool were created. Also integrated into the site are apartments, a parking area, event facilities, a branch of the municipal library and 850 parking spaces. In addition, the district administration office for the city district 3 has been located in the building since 6 September 2008. The shopping mall was opened on 23 September 2008. However, even at the beginning of 2010, the residential construction and parking design were still partly in the development phase.
