Piraeus is the port area that links Athens to the hundreds of famous Greek Islands. Piraeus is much more than a port however, and this little walk along the coastline, including the famous area of Piraiki demonstrates just how beautiful this part of the world is. This was shot on 25/03/2021 which was the celebration of 200 years of Greek Independence. Due to Covid-19 travel restrictions and national lockdown and curfew there were very few people around so this is a rare look at this historic area without all of the usual open shops and tourism. All films produced on this channel are shot at a normal walking pace so not only give potential visitors a good time frame for how long things may take but also give an intimate look at the areas filmed without promotion.
