Better Care: Supporting recovery with Sound Minds

This short film shows how our Acute and Urgent services are working with Sound Minds, a mental health arts charity, to support patients to avoid becoming unwell after leaving hospital and needing readmission. The film features interviews with the clinicians and people with lived experience of mental healthcare who created the idea behind the project. This work is part of a Quality Improvement Collaborative, one of the ways the Trust is working to tackle our challenges in line with the four principles of the Adult Patient Journey – that care: • Is purposeful • Avoids crisis • Is timely and least restrictive • Is recovery focused
