Take control of your destiny in this wacky wrestling-themed beat'em up! Toaplan's one game in the genre certainly is something different...but awesome! I wanted to go for a no death / NoMiss run but ended up coming short in the dumbest way possible. I lost 1 life this run to Hayate (the boss of level 3 and a character you get to play as when you beat him). He has almost no answer to El Plancha's slide technique, but I messed up the start of the fight and he unleashed his Tornado desperation move on me. The game is not very hard, as long as you understand how this game differs from most beat'em ups. Throws do not give you i-frames, unlike almost every other game. Fighting groups of enemies is counter-intuitive at first, because you often want to have them on both sides of you, but staggering their get up timing (see the end of Level 1 "Hotel Rats" when fighting the kickboxer and muscle guy wearing overalls simultaneously). I like the soundtrack, although it seems like there were some music tracks used more than twice. The game is also fairly short; most 1 credit runs are around 15 minutes. I got a kick out of the ridiculous phrases ("What a Knuckle Bash it was!!!") and translation errors like "I'll join you and fight to them!" Overall, a solid game while it lasts.
