Drum Major Ian Esson leads Ballater & District Pipe Band through the remote village of Braemar, starting outside the Invercauld Arms Hotel and marching to the Braemar Gathering site by the new Highland Games Heritage Centre and Duke of Rothesay Pavilion. The tunes include the "Green Hills of Tyrol" and "When the Battle's Over". Braemar is a small rural village in the Cairngorms National Park, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, surrounded by the Cairngorms and Grampian mountains.
