The Elstow complex, situated in Bedfordshire, is one of the most historically significant carp fishing venues of all time. Created by the late Len Gurd, in conjunction with the famous Linear Fisheries complex, the incredibly deep two lake fishery was the early stomping ground of so many big names in the angling world and in turn was at the forefront of angling innovation. Having fished the complex for over 25 years, there was no better person to take us on a journey through the history books, and into the present day than Steve ‘Apache’ Cliff. From the heydays of the 1990s, with a stock to envy a lot of venues nowadays, to the preservations of future stocks with onsite stock ponds, Steve covers everything there is to know, whilst also showing off some of the lakes’ current residents. With carp well over 40 years-old, interspersed with fantastic stories and some detailed tactical information from the venue where three rods on a spot originated from, this film has something for everyone!
