Heavy sand train with 4 SD40-2's W&LE 430 from Crestline to Spencer 7021

Happy Thanksgiving! On 4-7-24 we were in the right place to intercept W&LE 7021 leading train 430 pulling into Crestline on the PRR Ft Wayne line. The 430 is a mixed freight interchange train from the IORY in Lima heading back to Brewster with a unit train of sand loads plus some scrap loads, scrap empties and grain hoppers. I thought all the scrap was brought west on 431 to the mill in Delta so I'm confused why theres loads coming back east. We filmed them coming under the signal bridge a the west end of Crestline. This was once a major yard for the Pennsylvania Railroad but is now just a few tracks. The CF&E interchanges grain unit trains and welded rail trains with CSX, CSX has a large elevator they serve and NS runs a few trains a day through here. The 430 had to wait for a signal onto the CSX line so we got them coming under the east end signal bridge also. We raced to Shelby to get a crappy shot of them and another coming off CSX onto the Carey sub at New London. We got them at rural crossings on both sides of Spencer before breaking off the chase.
