Ammalu Musical presents this Pongal-special song celebrating our beautiful state of birth-Tamil Nadu. We also take this opportunity to showcase the marvellous Chedi-Butta sarees which are handwoven weaves from Veeravanallur, a tiny hamlet in our native district Tirunelveli. These breezy lightweight art silk-cotton sarees with the plant(Chedi) and polka dot( Butta) motifs are an absolute comfort and delight to wear. These GI tagged sarees represent our rich textile heritage as well as the master craftsmanship of the weavers who put their heart and soul into this weave. So let us honour this traditional drape on this occasion.
