Production date of the film is unknown (probably 1977?). This film describes the many achievements in Edison’s life, beginning with the invention of electricity to his final exploration of how to make rubber. His personal life is also outlined with mention of his close friends and his marriages. The film is created from footage of Edison himself, along with his inventions and places he lived and worked, like his personal mansion, Glenmont, and laboratory in West Orange, New Jersey. Research for the film was done by Claire Rosenstein, special photography and assistant producing by Charles Crumpton, and film editing by James Pallan.
