Overall this is generally a better choice than the cleric variant of this feat as there are plenty of spells that do not use charisma when casting, friends is one of the cantrips you can pick and hex is one of the 1st level spells. Also only protection from evil and good is obtainable from a magic item. Magic Initiate: Warlock works best on characters who can use their bonus action for hex and do not have other, or many other, bonus actions to use. Do keep in mind that Baldur's Gate 3 is still in early access and so the features shown in the video are subject to change and the game is incomplete, so expect more to be added to the game in the future. At time of recording the game was still in Early Access Patch 5, and by the time of the full release of Baldur's Gate 3 things may have changed.
