Do you live in Plano? Do you have trees or limbs that fell on your property during the winter storm? Here is some important information about removing it. If that large storm debris is blocking City streets, sidewalks or alleyways, it’s the City’s responsibility and our crews will remove it. Since the winter storm, our Public Works department has responded to more than 250 calls. Now, let’s talk about your yard. Normally, our crews pick up yard trimmings on your regular trash collection day. If you have small amounts of additional debris from the winter storm, you can add it to your regular yard trimmings, and we’ll pick it up. When you have a pile that is larger than 6 feet by four feet by four feet, please report it to our customer service team at 972-769-4150 or ewscustomerservice@plano.gov and we will pick it up at no charge. If you prefer to use a private contractor, there’s no need to report it. Bulky waste collections will run as scheduled. Household chemical waste collections will follow scheduled dates.
