Running empty cars from Castlemaine to Bendigo and back to run around, the SRHC's T378 and T382 are seen at Kangaroo Flat on the evening of the 5th of April 2025 working 8095/8096, a special for the SRHC president's birthday that had dropped the passengers off in Castlemaine for dinner. A trio of V/Line passes are also seen in the down Echuca, an up Bendigo and N467 on 8089 down Swan Hill, the last long distance loco-hauled service remaining with V/Line.
