First things first, though - if you're watching this video to see perfection, that's not really the point. Intro to Tech is about laying foundations which means lots of practice and imperfection. It also means trying different ways to achieve a skill and getting better step by step. We practice with a line as a reference to increase stability, control and positioning. To step it up a bit we may even take our fins off. That is not pretty, at least in the beginning, but try it two or three times, and it's a game-changer. Then there are propulsion techniques, out-of-gas scenarios, no-mask skills and much more to be considered. It's a packed three or four days. In this case, we were lucky to have assistance from Kati and additional time to put skills into practice and enjoy a fun dive day, too. What else is part of the course?
