🛣️ Exit 2 :: Transitions, Alignment & Intentional Living What does it mean to design a life that can actually hold you, beyond performance, productivity, or meeting others’ expectations? In this conversation, we explore capacity and care, especially for Black women, in a world that prioritizes performance over health and wellness. Many of us are living inside systems, homes, roles, and expectations that were never designed with our full selves in mind. We’ll talk about what it means to be “held,” not as comfort or luxury, but as safety, margin, and the ability to exist without constant self-override. Too often, Black women don’t get space to truly know themselves outside of roles, mothers, caregivers, partners, church members, professionals, and constant code-switchers. We are praised for resilience and strength while being denied protection, ease, and gentleness. As Malcolm X named decades ago, “The most disrespected person in America is the Black woman. The most unprotected person in America is the Black woman. The most neglected person in America is the Black woman.” That reality continues to shape how many Black women live and design their lives, often around survival and performance instead of self-focus and care. This session is not about fixing yourself, pushing through, or making dramatic life changes. It’s about noticing where your life truly belongs to you, where it supports you, where it doesn’t, and what it might look like to redesign for capacity, kindness, and truth. The Off-Ramp isn’t the emergency lane. It’s an intentional exit, chosen when the road you’re on demands endurance and leads to depletion instead of care. If you’re feeling unseen, tired, uncertain, or stretched thin, this conversation offers a steadier, more humane path forward. - - - - - - - - - - ABOUT ME: I’m a lifestyle architect and community strategist working at the intersection of intentional living, housing equity, and personal liberation.
