(16 Aug 2021) AARON KWOK AND LOUIS KOO CELEBRATE 'THE WHITE STORM 3' FILMING IN HONG KONG Actors Aaron Kwok and Louis Koo took part in a good luck ceremony and press conference for their upcoming film "The White Storm 3" in Hong Kong recently. The event, which coincided with the action movie starting the Hong Kong leg of production, was attended by cast and crew, Friday (13 AUGUST 2021). Actors Aaron Kwok, Louis Koo and Sean Lau posed in front of a roasted pig and burned flower bouquets in a symbolic ceremony aimed at bringing good luck to the production. The trio was also joined at the event by director Herman Yau and producer Lam Shiu-ming. The action film, which is a sequel to 2019 film "The White Storm 2: Drug Lords," features a new storyline and characters. Production has been delayed for over a year due to the pandemic and the team had to cancel their plans to film in Thailand and Yunnan, China. The first film of the series - "The White Storm" - premiered at the 2013 Hong Kong Asian Film Festival. It was directed by Benny Chan and featured Sean Lau, Louis Koo, and Nick Cheung. Koo stayed on for the second movie, in which he was joined by Andy Lau and director Herman Yau. A release date for "The White Storm 3" has yet to be been announced.
