Born to Perform College launched in Derby in September 2024, founded by Shanley Booth with a vision to deliver high-quality training for emerging performers. Now entering our second year — and our first year as a funded programme — we are excited to continue growing and expanding opportunities for our students. At Born to Perform College, learners receive professional training across multiple performing arts disciplines from experienced industry professionals. Our aim is to equip students with the technical skills, industry knowledge and confidence needed to pursue long-term careers in the performing arts. Built from passion and determination, Born to Perform College was created to help fill the gap for competitive post-16 performing arts training in Derby, and we are proud to continue supporting the next generation of performers as they begin their professional journeys.
