Clara Yzet on "Traction-assisted endoscopic submucosal dissection for resection of ileocecal valve neoplasia: a French retrospective multicenter" Ileocecal valve (ICV) lesions are technically challenging to resect. Although endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) techniques have been described, the outcomes of tractionassisted ESD are not known. This French retrospective multicenter case series examined 106 lesions, 59% of which invaded the terminal ileum. En bloc and R0 resection rates were 94% and 76%, respectively. R1 resection was associated with lesions involving the anal lip and lesions that covered ≥75% of the ICV.
