This Recipe is sure to get anyone who hates cabbage to give it a try and will probably eat the whole bowl. This is mom's recipe . Bavarian Cabbage Chowder Serves: 8 1pound Polish Sausage- Cut into bite size pieces 2 cups thinly sliced carrots 3 Tbs Imperial oleo 2 cans Cream of Celery soup 1 soup can of milk 1 soup can of water 3 cups of cabbage cut in long thin shreds In a large heavy pan (LOL like a Dutch Oven) Or just a regular pan if you are doing this on the stove, brown sausage. Once sausage is about halfway done add oleo and carrots. Cook carrots until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat stir occasionally and simmer for 10 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Serve and enjoy.
