Hi there, Got confused about Look, See and Watch? here are some simple rules to remember their difference. SEE is an inactive word, it means something “enters” eyes, which we can not avoid, or we just SEE without any effort. E.g., I saw a bird in your yard yesterday. I went out and saw the blue sky. Please notice, in these examples, I didn’t even try, I just saw it. LOOK is an active word, it means the action to see, or to see something with intention. E.g., Look at the tree, there’s a bird on it. Look at that girl, she has red hairs. Here, we LOOK in order to SEE something. WATCH is to look at something very carefully, intensely, normally because it’s moving or changing. E.g., I watched him run away. I watched a movie yesterday. Hope this clears your confusion. Thanks for watching.
