White out Challenge 1. Paint something white - a cup or object or if you are a more confident painter a group of white objects. 2. Beginners can have colour in the background, more confident painters - no colour items at all. 3. No bigger than 8x6 or 8x8cm - This is an exercise not a full painting. 4. Post your finished exercise here in the group and use the hashtag #whiteoutchallenge 5. If you are not confident posting your painting just tell us how you got on. 6. Make sure to support and encourage others doing the challenge too. Tips Remember that painting white is all about two things Value - how dark or light each area is and Colour - what colour in 'in' the white or reflected onto the white in each area. Reserve pure white only for the highlights. And above all It's a bit of fun!!
