This is the first of a three part series that explores recent trends with teen vaping, answers the question "What is vaping?" and addresses where teens are getting vapes. Paul Swiatek, LMSW is the drug prevention social worker for the Rush Henrietta School District near Rochester, New York. After receiving his masters degree in social work from Syracuse University, Paul served as a family drug and alcohol counselor at the Park Ridge Chemical Dependency Rehab Clinic from 1987 until 1997. He has been teaching drug prevention education courses as an adjunct professor since 1997 at Monroe Community College, Brockport State University and presently at Nazareth College of Rochester.
