In this video, I visit Tintern Abbey in Wales during extremely wet weather, with heavy rain pouring down all day. Despite the conditions, the Abbey still looks incredible, surrounded by mist and low cloud in the Wye Valley. The River Wye was running fast and brown after days of rain, adding to the dramatic atmosphere. I stopped for a much-needed coffee in Tintern village, before heading over to the Tintern Water Mill complex, where I could only manage a quick spin around due to the weather. I also visited Tintern Old Station, a fascinating and historic spot, but once again the rain made filming a real challenge. This trip definitely shows the reality of travel in Wales — not always sunshine, but always an experience.
