Community Supported Agriculture is a great way for us as consumers to help build and support a better food system. It provides farmers with a secure source of income, it allows them to invest in the future, and it allows them to spend more time farming and less time selling at Farmer's Markets. From a consumers' perspective, CSAs offer fresher food, more nutrient-dense food, and all-round better quality food than you are likely to find in your local supermarket.
