In this video of R4 i will be going for Time Attack hot laps using the best normal cars in the game for each one of then so excluding the special Extra Trial cars. This time the time laps are on the reverse courses. 2 Cars stands out as the best ones for this: those are the MMM Team Terrazi Terrific and DRT Team Assoluto Squalo. The Terrific is used for all the tracks besides Shooting Hoops and this car is amazing for being able to maintain its top speed better than the Terrazi Destroyer especially during heavy low speed cornering while also being able to accelerate quicker out of then. Loss of grip during low speed wheelspin which is standard of Grip Cars is also not as severe compared to Destroyer and having a top speed of 191 MPH (2 less than Destroyer at 193 MPH) while having the best Grip overall for being in the MMM Team means this car can get the best lap times of all normal cars with consistency. The Squalo for the DRT more specifically holds the distinction of being the fastest normal car in the game with a maximum top speed of 212 MPH so no other normal car in the game will beat the lap times of the DRT Squalo in the Shooting Hoops Track besides Vulcano, Nightmare and Utopia. since Shooting Hoops is a High Speed track, speed is much more needed then Grip here. In my original video where i showcased the Reverse Tracks i made it clear that they are very tricky and for good reasons: 1 - you never actually race in reverse in this game ever so the only way to know the track is to practice on then. 2 - Reverse tracks have jumps in the weirdest spots in the track forcing you to slow down alot. 3 - Lots...and LOTS of Blind corners either because of the layout of the track itself or because of certain elevation changes in reverse followed by a corner right after and when you are going at over 180 MPH on average, unless you already know that the corner is there...you will simply not react in time. To pull off consistent lap times in reverse i had to take some time to train these tracks again after my playthrough as while the regular tracks are pretty much ingrained to my muscle memory 1000%, reverse... not that much so i had to get it back before recording and even when you know the tracks its tricky to be consistent on then as the reverse layout of the tracks can mess you up randomly because of the above i mentioned so its hard to do all runs fully mistake free. Special Thanks to a new viewer of the channel @dorimonlover2 who wanted to see more R4 content on top of what i already did and it actually gave me a last minute idea of what to do. #RidgeRacerType4,#R4,#RacingGames,#Namco,#ps1,#playstation If you enjoy the contents of my channel as much as how much i love making then, don't forget to like, share, subscribe, turn on the bells of notification and most importantly, have fun! ➡️Link to subscription: / @rugalbernstein777
