What was supposed to be a night of camping and a day filled with enjoying the Spitzkoppe mountains turned out to be a lesson in survival, teamwork, and gratitude. Had we not left, we would have been stuck indefinitely, but to leave we had to face uncertain flooding conditions driving through otherwise dry river beds in drought hit Namibia. A cloud burst that helped us see sights that no one has and situations no one faced with multiple river Crossings with some of them quiet angry! we did this with our overlanding angels in namibia Alex and Betsy. This is mostly for insurance to help us be prepared for unexpected situations. it's like insurance. what modification did we most use in this situation? They are called Differential and Transfer case breathers and snorkle. This allows for wading in waters that are deep where the differentials and transfer case are submerged in water without water going into these parts and ceasing them to a stand still. #breathers #differentials #landcruiser200 #toyotalandcruiser #transfercase
