TABLATURE. This song is part of my Lesson Pack TABS volume 4 https://www.daddystovepipe.com/guitar... Blind Blake recorded this song in 1931. In fact he recorded two parts of it and there are three takes known (you can hear them on the budget box "Blind Blake - All the Published Sides" on the JSP label). These takes, although using the same progression, are very different in licks and tempo. It shows how great a creative genius Blake was. In only one of the takes he uses the tremolo brushing, which is very unique in country blues. It's of that version that I used the first guitarsolo. I'm playing a Supertone Handikraft mahogany guitar from around 1927; it's also known as "The Lindbergh" model because of its airplane shaped bridge. You can get the Blind Blake poster (and other cool stuff) here http://www.bluesimages.com/ John Miller did a great version of this song too on his first Blue Goose lp (out of print), also Aro Eisinger's version is fantastic.
